My Mother's Eyes, an animated short film that tells the survival story of Lusia Milch through her own testimony, has been nominated for a 2026 New York Emmy® Award. What began as her spoken account was shaped into a filmed segment and then animated frame by frame — turning lived memory into something students and audiences can truly feel.

The film is a production of the Dr. David M. Milch Foundation, the Lappin Foundation, and BeTerrific!!/WunderArt. It is shown to students as part of LEDI Center's education work, brought directly into schools by the Lappin Foundation, and has aired nationwide on PBS.
