Our Time in Jacksonville
The LEDI exhibit opened in 2024 at the Museum of Science and History (MOSH), one of Jacksonville's most visited cultural institutions, providing the ideal launch platform across Northeast Florida. Originally scheduled for a limited run, it was extended following an overwhelming response from the public. Over its two years in the city, more than 5,000 students and countless visitors walked through this immersive landscape of art, music, and history.
In 2025, supported by community enthusiasm and local funding, LEDI moved from MOSH to the historic Ritz Theatre and Museum in the LaVilla district. Known as the "Harlem of the South", this transition deepened the exhibit's cultural relevance, connecting Holocaust education to the broader themes of civil rights, resilience, and human dignity that live in Jacksonville's own civil rights history.
